Kachina provides ongoing management, employee training and certification on the most current technology available for collision repair. Prior to coming to Kachina in early 1998 John Hildesheim spent nearly two decades repairing automobiles in collision repair shops. Any one who knows John knows that he takes great pride in his work and that is what led him to rise to top as a technician. After reaching the top of his field as a journeyman collision technician he wanted a new challenge. When the position as a trainer/instructor presented itself at Kachina, John felt he could have a positive influence on his peers and possibly a new generation to technicians. Today John demonstrates and instructs on the Celette Dedicated Fixture Bench, Brewco Frame Racks, and Lasermate Measuring Systems. “Wisdom Is Knowing The Right Thing To Do. Integrity Is Doing It”

Coulter Cadillac
Phoenix, AZ
On June 23rd, 2005, the management team at Coulter Cadillac ensured that every one of their technicians had the ability to completely restore a vehicle to its pre-accident condition.
Coulter Cadillac had already invested in dedicated fixture repair systems, which realign the vehicle’s structure using the same technology Cadillac used when they first manufactured the car.
Now, with the professional training resources of Kachina Automotive and John Hildesheim, Collision Center Director Jerry Pena pulled his repair team together for two evenings and a weekend, to get expert instruction on making structural repairs. John covered diagnosis of damage and appropriate and safe repair methods. He trained them how to hold the undamaged portions of the vehicle in place while restoring out-of-align components to their correct position. He finished by training the class how to precisely hold new structural parts accurately while welding them to the vehicle.
Jerry Pena commented afterwards,
“Our customers place a great amount of trust in the dealership and its employees to maintain the integrity of their investment with the highest quality repairs. We all feel that responsibility personally, every day. With this training, and factory-quality equipment, we are confident that we can meet our customer’s expectations every time."
